Jolanda van den Berg has performed in several major Dutch theatre productions and appeared in various Dutch television series and films, including iHostage, Dertigers, CAST, Pink Moon, Black Out, and De Boskampi’s.

In addition to acting, Jolanda has been developing new plays for several years. In collaboration with Sytske van der Ster, she co-created and starred in Who’s Afraid of Woody Allen and NICO, a music theatre production about the lead singer of The Velvet Underground.

She also conceived and developed De Dans Ontsprongen, a play produced by Theater Na de Dam in 2019. Inspired by the international bestseller The Choice by Edith Eva Eger, the production featured actor Pierre Bokma and prima ballerina Igone de Jongh and was performed at the Royal Theatre Carré.

On May 4 and 5 Duif in Artis, her latest play, was staged at ARTIS (Amsterdam Zoo). In addition to developing the concept, Jolanda wrote one of the monologues, alongside acclaimed writers Tom Lanoye and Alfred Schaffer.

As a Creative Developer, she worked for Millstreet Films, a Dutch production company specializing in high-end films and drama series with a contemporary female perspective, often featuring strong female leads or being created by women.

Jolanda is currently working on her first novel, which is set to be published by De Bezige Bij.

Jolanda is always a joy to work with! She adds something extra to the character. A lot of humor and a lovely timing. Bursting with energy! Love her.
